see, it's 9:30 at night. where on earth would i be going on a shopping spree? why, amazon.ca, of course! my credit card is being used and abused so badly. at the moment i can afford to semi-splurge. it's been a long time coming, too. -_-; so what have i spent so far? i set up my paypal account (it shouldn't cost money to do that! arrggg!), i registered precisely.org, i bought hosting which is currently propagating or whatever (and taking its sweet time -_-), and i just now bought some fun-fun purchases from amazon. i've been very tempted to go clothes shopping online, but burg and i will do that on monday together. :D

so what did i buy at amazon just now? i bought this and this. the utena manga for myself (i don't own any utena stuff, and this is the cheapest to get as of now) and the star trek tng video for my mother. she's been looking for the last episode(s) of the show for quite some time now. so i'm going to buy it, watch it, then give it to her. :D aren't i nice?

dan hasn't eaten supper yet. dan was going to eat food gluttonously, but he hasn't yet. now is the time.

i'd like to start off by directing everyone to this lovely set of links. fast food fornication traumatized noin for life, i think. i found the set of ads for a brazilian internet company rather amusing; however, the nipple project scares me so.

now, you're probably wondering what the hell is wrong with me. these are the types of sites that only the desperate internet surfer views (and finds humorous). well, i've been sitting around all day waiting for something to appear on my domain. ftp doesn't respond when i try uploading something, either. so all i can do is refresh the url which is supposed to be my domain's control panel. nothing so far. isn't that lovely? hence, the boredom.

i'm very hungry. i'm going to go eat food gluttonously. i should give my mom a call. and burg, too. yes.

what a delightful surprise. they fixed the internet here at the university a day ahead of schedule. :D

i got my credit card in the mail yesterday! it was there waiting for me when i came home. i can't wait to use it. i'm going to paypal.com right now to verify my stupid international account so i can buy stuff off of ebay. evil, evil ebay.

my mom bought me over $100 worth of groceries yesterday, too. it's all good. :D

i don't have any money (credit card doesn't count) to spend on textbooks at the moment, but i took a look at some of the books i need to get. for my music theory class, i have to buy this huge as-big-as-a-dictionary textbook which is the textbook for the first three music theory classes. this is good because i plan on taking as many of those as i can. and i'll already own the book. this is good. :D i also have to buy a workbook for the same class (which is bigger than my drama book, by the way) and it has blank staffs and notes all over in it. i'm assuming that it wants me to fill in the blank staffs, and such. it's just like being back in grade seven band with all those fun little worksheets!

okay, i must now spend heaps of money i don't have. ciao. ;D

i'm going to be gone for a couple days. my mom is moving to red deer this week, and i'm finally getting a ride back to lethbridge. the bad thing is that i won't have internet access for a couple days. :( i don't know what i'll be doing to occupy my time. i'll probably go nuts trying to keep myself entertained. i'll be waiting impatiently for my credit card to arrive in the mail. those are the only plans i have currently. too bad i don't have any money.

i'm going to go take care of my school finances today, and such, as well as get a textbook list (finally) so i know how much i'm paying that stupid overpriced bookstore. tomorrow: i plan on being bored.

i just got back from seeing blue crush. from the moment i saw the preview for the movie, i knew i wasn't going to like it. it has shallow conflict (ha) which has either been done before or was just…corny. the camera shots were amazing and the beginning was so messed up it made me cringe, which was okay film-making in that respect, i suppose. why was i not drooling over all the hot hawaiian surfer women? maturity? i don't think so.

a lot has been on my mind lately. what if - and this is just what if - someone tells you that they rejected a marriage proposal because they didn't want to eliminate the chance of being with you. what would you say? how would you feel? seriously.

i spent most of the day with burg. we went golfing at two different golf courses (we went to the one she works at in waterton lakes national park…for free). my hands are so sore, as are my arms and legs. i'm a horrible golfer and i got a horrible score. burg did pretty bad, too, but not as bad as me, by far. the weather was great; it rained off-and-on. the waterton golf course is in the middle of the rockies and i've always loved the view from that course.

tomorrow burg wants to do a date thing. joy. -_- i have no money at all to spend and she pretty much told me i had to come. she didn't ask me at any time if i wanted to go. i really like how she's considerate like that. i don't even know what we're doing. i think we might go golfing, but i don't want to do that at all considering my current state. i also hope my credit card came (i'll be stopping by my place to check my email, etc.).

i'm feeling kind of sick right now. i haven't eaten anything decent today but i'm afraid to eat a good meal. i'll probably vomit. i'll probably try something to eat something anyway.

my family's watching a godfather movie on cbc. i hate godfather movies a lot. -_-;;;

alright, i'm going to limp to the kitchen for some food now…

went to church.

ate chocolate ice cream.

my sister is watching a mary kate and ashley olsen movie. they're in australia. someone shoot them. or hit their heads together, or something.

i just gave in and added one of those ugly weather pixies on my blog. conformity is me. -_-

if they weren't so big and clunky. i wish they'd have a smaller weather thing, but oh well. it's way down there, so you don't have to stare at it if you read the recent posts. :P

maybe you americans will learn metric temps, too.

i won't be in lethbridge for a while. this sucks. burg wants me to do stuff with her, but i have no money. i hate the situation i'm in. and i also found out today that a friend of ours got married today. we saw her in her wedding dress, and everything. she invited us to her reception, but i think i'm going to pass. burg's going though. i don't want to dress up, and i really didn't like this "friend" much in the first place. :x and she annoyed burg, too, so i'm kinda shocked. o_O plus, i'm not really feeling all that well today…oh well.
