interesting day today.

friday's supposed to be my day off, but not today. i had two multimedia group projects to work on today and a meeting with my drama professor.

noon to three was spent filming part of our next video project. not only that, we spent a very long time making box fashion. clothes and accessories made out of boxes. and then we put them on a made a rock video. :D it's going to be our commercial for our infomercial. i'm the drummer with a freaky yellow mask. i have wash-out blue hair, too (but you can't really see it). *_* ah, memories.

at three i had a meeting with my drama professor. he says i'm doing great and i'm pushing/challenging myself (which comes across as making a genuine effort, apparently). >_> after that, i went back and filmed some more of the video project until six.

at six i worked on another multimedia project with another group. no one wanted to do much, i think, so that didn't really last too long…

but i got two seramyu tapes in the mail today and i'm simply dying to watch them. *_*

ohohoh, and yesterday a bunch of us went to see bowling for columbine. wow. i am buying that when it comes out on video. i've made the decision that i will never live in the states. ever. it's not a fear of anything, it's more of a disgust. sorry. i like how canada was put on a pedestal though. :B

i hate charlton heston.

it's that time again! time for me to plan, film, and edit rediculous amounts of video footage! yay! :D that's pretty much all i did yesterday. we're making an infomercial in multimedia class. not just any infomercial, though. no. we're selling japanese cardboard boxes that you just can't live without (and the boxes do crazy and impossible things). the infomercial is in japanese (since our whole group can speak some japanese if not fluently [one group member is japanese herself...]) and we're going to dub over the entire thing…like a crappy english dub where the mouth and the speech are not in sync whatsoever. :D and the actual japanese things we're saying won't be the same as the english dub. this will be apparent (i.e. people getting mad and freaking out while the english voice-over says "we love this box! it makes us so happy! our lives will never be the same!"). >:D so i won't be around much, probably. x_x

what little free time i had today was spent on getting seramyu.net working. i probably won't have this much free time until next week, which is really crazy.

enough of that.

my fingers are black from the black cont・i was just using to finish another drawing that's due in eight hours. i washed my hands as best as i could, yet they're still black. normally, cont・wouldn't do this, but i was rubbing a lot tonight (so much it made my fingers burn). the final product looks okay though.

stupid art. there's a lot i didn't finish, but that's just too frickin' bad. if i get a d in this class, i don't care.

but at least there's no one in the art studio at midnight. i can play loud seramyu music on the cd player in there. which is what i did. and i sang along, too. it was great. :D

speaking of seramyu, guess who bought seramyu.net tonight? >_>;;; me. <_<;;; *runs away* this is taking my obsession to a whole new level. x_x

arggg. i hate it when people IM me asking if i want to switch phone companies and all that.

i decided to work on some of my art homework that's due on tuesday. well, we're supposed to hand in a freaking portfolio by tuesday and i have pretty much nothing ready to hand in.

i've been working on one drawing since about 5:30. it's almost done, but it's such a pain how much time and effort this stuff takes. x_x

so i'm on my break now. for once i'm actually disappointed i don't have any new email.

i guess i had better go finish it now. *sigh*

glad i switched to b2.

and i made this fun flash animation today, but it looks absolutely horrible, i can't show it to anyone. -_- little did i know that when you view the animation on a pc (i made it on a mac), it goes in just about double the speed it's supposed to. arggg. maybe it'll work for lbeth. she's in it but doesn't know it. >:D

i'm going to have to find out a way to convert the project file into a pc flash program or something. -_- what a pain. i've been working on this thing for the last three days and have gone through extreme agony to finish it. :(

so i've decided to cancel the utena thing. that'd be virtually impossible to do. if it takes me three days to make a two minute animation, i'm not going to even try. and if it's not going to work on pc computers, i don't really see the point. but it would have been fun. :( maybe some day…

did i mention i got lbeth's valentine card? i laughed quite a bit. and now i have a nice pair of sticker earrings to wear.

and i can wear them anywhere i want to ;)!!!!

burg and i took part in a cornocopia of fantastic films tonight. on the menu: daredevil followed by chicago.

let me say, first off, that i love jennifer garner as well as catherine zeta-jones, so i knew both of these movies would be a winner no matter what.

i was more than satisfied.

daredevil had a very interesting plot, i think, and the creators of the comic book are now officially geniouses (in my little reality, at least).

chicago…well…wow. i will probably never see another musical like that again. i loved how the fantastical songs relate to the plot even to the point of subtlety. it was done with such taste, such class, that i ate it up like candy (and loved every minute of it).

and we also saw some interesting previews, too. not that it matters. you know, i think previews do more bad things than good. they make you want to see the movie even more, but there's still months until the movie comes out. i hate that. oh well. i'll live. stupid previews.

anyone noticed my new desktop? check it out on the side there if you haven't. i made it myself. :D it only took me about 2 minutes, too. :D i think i'm going to start making my own wallpapers, and stuff. maybe a new site will grow out of that. but if you want to have that wallpaper, i've uploaded them:

also, i got a valentine from usa in the mail today. *_* with candy. *_* my weakness. *_* but…the envelope was practically in tatters thanks to good ol' canada post. -_- that always happens, so i'm not surprised. the entire left side of the envelope was ripped and was taped together with masking tape. i don't know if usa did that…but i suspect canada post. obviously.
