i have fifteen minutes to kill on this computer. email messages from the last two days only amounted to about ten in total. kind of sad, really. :(

it's kind of annoying how i have to come to this library all the time. i think this is the last time i use these really bad computers until i'm officially back, or whatever. what shocks me is that they upgraded the computers here, but it feels more like a downgrade. o_o these are dell pentium 4 machines with windows xp. they even have dvd-rom drives (which is hilarious because there is a sign taped to this monitor saying E-MAIL use only! (i'm so deviant). not many people use dvd-rom drives to check their email. but what makes this computer so crappy is how slow it is. i swear, they put the same slow machines in pretty black casings. there's keyboard lag, for crying out loud. i type something and it appears a second later. my 386 works better than this. too bad it's not really good for, well, anything.

and people…look up the definition of the verb to have. >_> *secretly aroused* (oops, it's not a secret anymore, i guess.) if you really think about it, english is such a dirty language. seriously…you can make pretty much anything sound perverted (especially us! :B). and then there's the variations in the english language that make it even worse (i.e. "can i bum a fag?" or "you can borrow my rubber if you want to").

i am so buying a webcam.

i came back to this library. yay me. -_- i just couldn't take it. i could hear their little internet connection calling out for me to abuse it. it taunts me only because it knows i don't have one (yet).

i also came back because i realized i forgot to log out of b2 when i came here last. it's not like i lost sleep knowing anyone that uses this pretty, black, public dell computer has access to my private journal. i just needed to come back and log out. simple as that. so that's what i shall do after i write this. i wonder if i can clear the cookies on this machine…

tomorrow's father's day. i really don't care for this holiday (i'll give you three guesses why), but i'm taking my grandfather out for chinese food tonight as my gift to him. of course my grandmother is being treated as well…i guess that's part of the gift (me treating his wife >D).

i bought two cartons of really yummy ice cream (fudge and cookies & cream flavors). i will eat them. i will enjoy them. i will have them. *logs out*

so sisko's sending me his computer and i'm freaking excited. *_* i don't know how much more i can take of this library (which just upgraded its computers o_o). chances are i won't be coming back until i have access at home. :\

and i actually had a good day at work today. -_-

i have had the song "drive me the mercury" stuck in my head for at least 48 hours now. i'd complain, but i like the song.

life is still boring.

don't you just hate it when you feel that there's something crucially important you need to do on the internet, but when you finally get access you can't remember what it was? so i'm sitting here at the library wondering if i'm just overwhelmed with internet stuff to do, check, read, post, check up on, et cetera (and, hence, i'm sitting here clueless as to what i should be doing) or if i've totally forgotten what i need to be doing. or if there's anything at all. blog posting is progress…

work is still boring. shock. not in my job description: ambassador of canada to idiots. these americans i work with (i don't work with a single canadian [yet]) drive me nuts sometimes. i've been asked all the classic dumb questions (do you say "eh?" all the time? what's the president of canada's name? who started this country? is there a state west of alberta? why didn't canada join in the war in iraq?) plus some really interesting ones (do you put your hand over your heart when you sing o canada? why is chicken so expensive here? if canada had to side with the u.s., britain, or france, who would it be? do you say the phrase "full of beans" here? where's the nearest mcdonald's?). they're hiring someone from lethbridge on monday. i hope i get along with him. we can make shifty-shifty eyes every time our american co-workers say something stupid like that. >_> how fun. <_<

ohohoh, i just remembered the dumbest thing. there's this one guy from mexico at work (he doesn't have an accent, really, and i think he's american now) and on his first day on the job, he asked me if i was "local" (which i responded "yes" to, of course). so he says "you're loco!?"…as i make the -_- face in my mind. and then another guy says "loco means crazy in spanish." and i was like…"i know O_o" but i didn't say it, actually. >_> i felt like it though. <_< and then the mexican guy is like "i bet there's not many mexicans up here." i'm like "nope, not really," which was a lie.

ohohoh, and they talk so funny. i guess they talk normal. when i think about it, most americans on tv talk like that. which leads me to believe that i do have a slight accent. along with everyone i know. x_x i.e.: they say the word alright like all-raweet, kind of. it's not a full blown emphasis on the RAW, but it's definitely there. there's not even a hint of raw when i say that.

so this working with americans thing not exactly all that fun. by the way, i'm not saying that all americans are like this. these are pretty ignorant, though, so i'm allowed to talk smack them. :D

and dude…sisko. O_O email me or something. O_O i am SO considering that computer offer. O_O how much do you think shipping would be? O_O i have a paypal account if you want to do it that way/get the money faster. O_O! O_O!! O_O!!!

i'm at my mom's. my grandparents and i drove up to visit and to move some furnature and stuff. we came here yesterday.

i could have spent all afternoon and evening talking to people on aim, you know. i spent most of the time making a song (remix of see me boku-tachi no jidai and chasin' after you available on kaguya shima now now now). i didn't even log onto the internet until the late evening (where i was bombarded with IMs and stuff, of course). i was just in time for some drunk IMs, too, thank goodness. :D i needed that. i really did. i miss spending time on the internet on a regular basis. i've been neglecting all you little people who live in my computer. oh wait, i don't have a computer. i guess you're all homeless.

but i've made $350 so far, so it shouldn't be too long until i can buy something to hook up to a phone line. i've decided that i can mooch off my grandparents' phone line for the time being (as long as i mostly use it late in the evening). and then i need to convince my mom to let me use her aol account to dial up to the internet (she has unlimited internet time, after all). so all i need is a machine. right now i'm not caring if it's crappy or what.

and i need to log off right now.
