i guess when everyone starts commenting up a storm, it's time to blog something new.

what shall i say?

my grandparents will probably be back tomorrow. yay. just when i was used to having the house to myself. ;D having my grandpa home all day isn't exactly fun, either, you know. it's hard to explain, so i won't. i love my grandpa, and all, but he gets pretty irritating if he's home all the time with nothing to do. actually, it's worse when he finds something to do (like shovel snow all afternoon) because i usually have to help him. -_-

it's been snowing here for the past two and a half days. i haven't left the house since. seriously, it's drifted really high over our driveway. i'm too lazy to shovel it. but i think i'll just go and do it tomorrow morning. tomorrow will the the fourth day the mail has been building up at our post office box. oh, the humanity!!! and i have to take all those dvds back that i rented. i rented five more. x_x if i leave them laying around when they get back, they might put on boogie nights, or something, and i don't really want them watching that. x_x

i'll try to play the sims for you guys some other time, too. :P

for lbeth: i tried looking up some stuff in my dream on yahoo! astrology (they have a dream interpretation section) and didn't come up with much. they don't exactly have "sex change" on there anywhere. o_o the closest entries i found that may be interesting are woman, friends, jail.

based on those, my interpretation is that i value my feminine side so much that i want to become it. but it's a secret and i'm hiding it and it'll be really hard to make it happen. and even if i do make it happen, i'll end up going back to how i was before. o_o;;;

and, hey, everyone…guess who's staying at my place tonight!? yes, that's right. our favorite annoying woman who's staying every single weekend, remember? -_-

what makes this different, though, is that my grandparents are gone for a week, or so, to visit family around alberta and saskatchewan (they're at my mom's in red deer right now). and the first night they're gone i have to put up with her. -_- how lucky am i? -_- i'm sleeping in very late tomorrow. because i can. i rented the exorcist so i could watch it alone with the lights off. with no one else in the house. how masochistic am i? >_> but i can't do that because ms. what's-her-bucket can't take a hint. -_- oh well…not my house…it doesn't matter anyway. i'll just watch it tomorrow night. -_-

i also rented stranded and watched that last night. omg, what a crappy movie. interesting idea, though, and i've seen movies that were way worse than that (the time machine comes to mind), but i could only take the crappy dubbed voices so long. yes, dubbed. i noticed it right away that they dubbed over two characters' voices. and i can't imagine how that improved the movie any because the overdubbed voices are absolutely awful!! the way they intonated their sentences was horrible!! it's hard to describe, but…just the way they said some things (especially the woman) was absolutely awful and very, very unnatural sounding.

i can't wait to see the exorcist, though. a movie that has the guts to call itself "the scariest movie of all time" has to be good. i've never seen it. yeah, i've been living under a rock. my mom says that it's the only horror movie that's ever made her truly afraid. hysterically afraid, in fact. o_o i have high expectations. >_>

i might end up watching it during the day, since i have all day tomorrow to watch it, and i might not be able to wait until dark. :( here's hoping i don't have a nervous breakdown…

i had a really weird dream last night. hmm, i guess it's a grep dream since kley was in it.

i was a prisoner in a jail for women. i guess that means i was a woman, too. o_o kley was also a prisoner. she had black hair, though. i guess it was because she was a "bad girl" or something. o_o

anyway, i'm really shy in this jail. all the other women are trying to seduce me. i can't figure out why. but i'm pretty much rejecting all this seduction. and then kley and i switch bodies. o_o and that's when i figure out why everyone's seducing each other. if you successfully seduce someone, you get out of jail. so i seduce kley, who's now me. and i get out of jail.

what did i do when i was out of jail in kley's body? i went to a movie. and i somehow ended up back in jail after that.

today was so fun. -_- not. -_- yesterday i got a semi-job offer to work all day wednesday (today) from this guy who's been trying to help me get a job (for some reason i feel like i'm being taken advantage of here, but whatever -_-). all i was told was that i'd be helping him work on his daughter's house in pincher creek. (note: this guy is like 70. @_@!) talk about vague information. -_- i was pressured into doing it by my grandparents, namely my grandma, because if it were up to me, i definitely wouldn't have done it.

going by the description, i assumed that it was construction on a house that hasn't been built yet. wouldn't you think the same? well, it wasn't. apparently this woman got her father to work on her bathroom for her. i don't know how that came about, considering she's married, has a family, a nice house, and - i'm assuming - money. hire a plumber. -_-

anyway, the main thing that needed to be done was installation of a totally new bathtub. their bathtub wasn't that bad before, but i can see why they wanted a new one.

their old bathtub is one of those bathtubs where the drywall is built right on top of it. most bathtubs are like that. so you have to tear up the wall in order to get the tub out. but then the drain pipe wouldn't disconnect from the tub. so we had to go into the basement and disconnect the pipe that was connected to from underneath. but then we were in such a situation where that pipe was preventing us from getting it out. and that wasn't fun at all. -_-

it took all morning to get that tub out. we finally got it. apparently he had ordered in a new bathtub for them at one of the local hardware stores. so we went there and got it, took it back, opened the box. and…it's a lefty. you know, the drain and stuff is on the left side of the tub. we needed one where it was on the right side. he ordered a right-sided tub. idiots. -_-

we took it back. they told him he had a week until they could get him the correct bathtub. by then it was mid-afternoon and we decided it was time to go back to cardston (since pincher isn't exactly that close to cardston x_x).

at least the country is really nice (even during this dead yellow time of year -_-). the mountains look prettier there than they do here, i think. i like the hick-ish country murals they have painted around town, too. >_>;;; i'd never been there before. so many windmill turbine things, too. @_@;

you know what else is nice? the cheque he gave me. for way more than i deserved. x_x we didn't even finish the job. i felt like he was overpaying me, so it told him to call me when he wanted to put the bathtub in next week if i'm available. i don't want to do it, but i would have felt kind of guilty had i not at least offered. i might have a job by then, though, so who knows.

but i feel sorry for the bathtubless family. @_@ they don't have another bath or shower in their house (i think they have another bathroom, but no shower or anything in it). sucks to be them. >_>

the sims crashed on me today again. -_- this time i was saving about every ten minutes, so i didn't lose a whole lot. i think it's some of the new objects i downloaded, so i decided not to use them in this house. and it hasn't crashed yet if i use the objects that the program came with. -_- anyway, i'm sure you're all just dying to know about my wonderful exciting sims, eh? >:P

yay, she's gone. -_- talk about wearing out one's welcome. you don't know who i'm talking about, so let's rewind a few days. or how about a few weeks.

my grandparents have really weird friends. -_- i guess i have to accept this and tolerate it if i'm going to be living with them here in cardston. i'm sort of used to it, but it's weekends like these that i just can't take.

one of my grandparents' friends is a woman (in her 50s…but doesn't show it…and that's not a compliment, you sicko!) who lives in raymond. raymond is pretty far away from cardston. not very far, but relatively far. anyway, she's single (she's been divorced like three times)…oh wait, i can't say she's single. she's actually engaged to a man in his 70s from mountain view. yeah, sick. but anyway, she's decided that every time she wants to spend extended periods of time with this guy, she has to sleep over here. and she totally invites herself, too. it's not like my grandparents are openly offering. why does she do this? well, raymond is pretty far from mountain view, really. cardston is in between them, but way closer to mountain view. so of course it makes sense to stay here!! and of course we can't look like a hussy by sleeping over at his house. :x no, not at all.

i normally wouldn't have a problem with this….if she didn't come every single weekend!!!!!!!!! -_- i can only tolerate her for short periods of time. she's so nosy it makes me sick. sorry, lady, but just because i know about your wonderful and exciting life (and i wish i didn't) doesn't mean i have to tell you all about mine. go away. -_- and she's so perky and happy it makes me sick. she has this happy attitude that she's better than you, too. this one time i was writing down some salsa recipe over the phone for my grandma. omg, i nearly screamed at her i was so frustrated. "write down 't.b.s.p.' instead of 'tablespoon' because that's how it spells it on the recipe… put 'c' instead of 'cup'… pepper is spelled 'p.e.p.p.e.r.' " -_- of course she's as perky as ever telling me all these things. *freaks out*

normally she'll only stay one night. this weekend…i don't know what she was thinking, but she stayed from friday until monday. i was sick of her on friday. about five minutes after she got here. i heard her voice this morning, so i decided not to get out of bed until she left. she didn't leave until like 11:30. -_-

she'll be back next weekend. four more days of peace. i'm so glad i have a big bottle of ibuprofen. go drugs.

okay, i forgot what else i was going to say. o_o

i'm rather angry at the sims right now because i just spent about two hours making my new family a nice house…and i went and saved and the program just shut itself down. without saving anything. -_- looks like they're going to get a crappy house after all. >_>

i played the sims a bit yesterday, though. i mostly played the corruption family (sisko, scot, willow). sisko and minako are still an item. scot's rather anti-social (until i forced him to be friends with three people, because he needed it for his job). and willow's not cleaning up after the boys anymore. >D she's doing really well in her job, too. *_* all three of them, actually. they're advancing rather quickly. *_* but all of them need to make lots of friends to advance further, so they've been inviting people over quite a bit. kley's their favorite person to call. :D
