elaborating a bit on the last post, my ddr konamix and pads are out there somewhere, hopefully en route to edmonton. fedex tracking says they were last seen in vancouver four days ago. x_x and they predict that i will receive them on thursday. well, i don't know about you, but i could drive to vancouver and back twice and it wouldn't take as long as this package is taking to get to me. -_-;;; this is supposed to be fedex, for crying out loud.
also, remember how i said i had a fake day at work on saturday? i had to sit in front of a computer for four hours and do the orientation program thing. i forgot to mention the section on sexual harassment. x_x;;; they showed video clips of dramatized situations and you had to say whether it was sexual harassment or not. x_x some of it was so blatently obvious. so much so that it was unbearable (yet hilarious, knowing it was a dramatization) to watch. in one, a guy was practically thrusting his groin into a woman's face. gee, i don't think that's sexual harassment!!! for parts like that i just sat there with my hands in my face laughing like a maniac. i'm so glad they put me in a small room by myself to do this thing. and, also, one other note on that sexual harassment thing. i was really offended when i actually got one of the scenarios wrong. some guy says to a woman, "hey, i really like what you've done with your hair today. that's a nice shirt, too," or something along those lines. and you had to say whether that was sexual harassment. well, i said it was. i don't really know why, but the way he was carrying himself looked like he had hidden intentions. but it said i was wrong and that it wasn't sexual harassment. >:O and then, the next clip is right where the last one left off with him pressuring the woman to go out with him. >O so i was right all along. >O

so, yeah, that's that. the heritage festival on saturday was really fun. it's still as good as it ever was. *_* so much good food, too. *_*;; i mostly ate stuff from the arabic, ireland, and italian places. the arabic kabab in a pita with chickpea sauce was pretty good. *_* i wanted to go to the greek place and get baklava, but we forgot to do it. :( my sister got some stuff from the japan place, and i took a free magazine from there. they were playing "go" there, which looks really complicated, even though they say it's easy. -_- and the origami there was extremely impressive. @_@!! there were lots of dancers everywhere, and i took a billion pictures. i had to create sound memos on each of the pictures so i could remember what country they were from. x_x
let's see…today, the cable guy is finally supposed to show up. between 8:00 and noon. what a gap. he was supposed to show up one week ago exactly, and he did. my sister and i slept in, though, and didn't hear the doorbell when he came (we have a really quiet doorbell here x_x). so i decided to wake up at 8:00am just to be sure. and, of course, i got, like, no sleep at all last night. just my luck. -_- but i'm dying to have, oh, i don't know…television. reception here is crap, for some reason, and it's driving us all crazy. but cable internet is something i'm way more excited to get. i'm really looking forward to going back into those yahoo! jp karaoke voice chat rooms and listening to their engrish renditions of "pretty woman" *_*!!!!!!!!!
ohohoh, i've been watching anime lately. i rented the first dvd of tenchi in tokyo, which is the second season of tenchi muyo??? that's what i'm guessing.
OMG A CUTE GINGER CAT IS IN MY BACKYARD!!! *_* AWWWWWWWW!!! *_* the computer is right by the window, so. >_>;;
ANYWAY. O_o tenchi. yeah, the title of tenchi in tokyo in japanese isn't that at all. it says "shin tenchi muyo" which basically means "the new tenchi muyo". but i've seen bits and pieces of the many tenchi serieseseses, so it's not like i have to know what happened previously anyway. :D as long as ryo-ohki can still turn into a ship, i won't be confused. :D
and, i hate to say this, but ryoko really amuses me. x_x but i still love aeka tons. :D my favourite thing about aeka is how she's so overly polite to everyone. x_x well, in her language at least. it's always "tenchi-sama" or "washu-san" or "ryoko-san" complete with formal polite pronouns and verb forms. @_@ but ryoko is really amusing me. i don't know, her sultry act cracks me up. >_> poor mihoshi and all the others are so one-dimensional this time. x_x and, omg, is that villain the person from yu-gi-oh, or some show like that!?!?! X_X;;; someone shoot me. we've been reduced to crap anime such as that. *horrored*
i need to make a layout now. usa knows what for. dg knows what for, too. *gets busy* >_>
