where shall i begin? @_@ i barely even remember the past few days. x_x i was sleep deprived for most of yesterday. why? well, i decided to pull an all-nighter the night before last (for no reason). usually when that happens i wuss out and end up going to bed in the late afternoon (if i even make it that far). so most of yesterday is a blur. i did get some sleep, though. almost an hour total, i think. i decided to go to west ed and do some shopping. :D (omg, i just saw a commercial advertizing a bollywood channel!!! how amusing!! anyway…) i fell asleep on the bus ride there and back. >D i mainly went to find a winter jacket (yes, it's starting to get colder here -_-). i spent way more money than i wanted to. i walked the mall about three times browsing around for deals, and stuff, but i ended up spending plenty at old navy. x_x it was actually the cheapest jacket in the entire mall that i liked. hmmm, maybe i shouldn't shop while half-awake. x_x i always end up spending a lot. x_x most of my big purchases on ebay and amazon, and stuff, are almost always after midnight. >D but i ended up buying a new ORANGE winter jacket. >:D i'm sure you'll all see pictures of it. >:D i love it. it's all puffy and new and full of feathers (dry clean only!? nooooo! >_>) and sooooo pretty. i also saw some thin, zip-up hoodies on sale (for over half price). they had camo patterned ones, so i just had to get that. >_> not that i'm a huge fan of camo stuff (i only have one pair of pants like that), but it looked fun and was on sale. :(
and i made a fool out of myself at chapters and hmv. not that i buy all my music at chapters, but i saw a bjk cd i needed there (i needed post and homogenic, and post was at chapters) and it was $13.99. pretty good, if you ask me. *_* better than the $20+ i always see her albums for. so i buy it. then i go over to hmv, which is practically next to chapters if you didn't know, and the security things beep when i walk in. stupid chapters cd. -_- no one seems to notice, so i just keep walking in. and what do i notice? they had all of bjk's albums on sale for two for $25 (except med伃la, of course). -_-;;; i really wanted that homogenic cd, so i looked through all the cds they had in that sale to see if i wanted anything else they had. i didn't, really, so i decided to go back to chapters. but the security things were going to beep when i walked through. so i, like the idiot i am, go up to the counter and ask the guy to demagnetize my purchase from chapters so i could get out without it beeping. he doesn't even look in the bag (i could be stealing O_O) and demagnetizes it. and i proceed to go back to chapters only fifteen minutes later to return the cd. the cashier was like, "changed your mind? o_O" i felt like saying, "yeah, i wasn't paying attention and i thought it was madonna. :)" i felt like such an idiot returning it so fast. -_- i simply told them i found a better deal somewhere else. then i went back to hmv and bought post and homogenic. :D so i own all her albums now (including greatest hits). :D go me! :D
i still haven't listened to either of them yet. i haven't even listened to that sugarcubes album i bought a while back. hell, i haven't even watched that making of med伃la dvd i bought at the same time as that. O_O ugh.
but i played ddr at the mall. *_* that game is funnnn as always. except it was just my luck that everyone that was there happened to be very, very, very good. like a million times better than me. and i'm not bad. -_- i hate it when that happens. and then while i was playing one of my last games, a guy came along and started doing the song i was doing beside me on the empty pad. I HATE THAT! >_<!!!!!!!!! last time that happened i freaked out and failed the game entirely. this time i was more confident though. -_- he came along on my second last song, so for my last song i picked the same song that i failed the last time that happened to me. and i passed it. >:D but the guy next to me was all, "ugh, i hate this…it's too slow!" -_- it was a seven-foot song and somewhere in the 170 beats per minute range (i'm guessing, i don't know for sure). i hate people like that who think they're just so good and you're scum. -_- they forget that they were once at the level people like me were at. they even forget that they were once at the level as people that can't even pass the most basic of songs. thankfully i haven't forgotten and i love playing with people that aren't as good as me. it makes me look good, even though i suck. >:D but i, too, remember the first time we royally sucked at playdium. and were doing the easiest songs on there. and i remember the times practicing at home where i couldn't get any of the double arrows that were like…up/left or down/right…you know what i mean? all the ones that aren't up/down and left/right. :D so, yeah, i hate jerks like that who only play to show off instead of playing to have fun. -_-;
so, yeah, after a very tiring day i went to bed at around 8:30 last night. i slept for 14 hours though. x_x if felt so good.
i watched grave of the fireflies today. everyone said it was really sad (and boy were they not kidding), but it didn't make me feel sad in particular. i was just…depressed. of course i cried, though. but i felt like absolute crap after watching it. i had to go watch some pgsm to cheer myself up. >D my sister and i are watching that together, by the way (pgsm, not grave of the fireflies [which i watched by myself]). we watched up to—and including—act 18. we watched a lot today. like maybe six or seven acts. i don't know, i think that's a lot. i've got act 24 downloading right now, so we've got lots to watch. :) it's getting interesting, though! i've got a few unanswered questions that i'm dying to have answered. which is weird. @_@ i mean…in how many forms have i seen this storyline?? anime, manga, several musicals. and…i've got unanswered questions!? it's fun. *_*; and minako, i got your IM. :D i'd totally send all these files to you if my connection could handle that. :( i need real high-speed. >_< oh well, at least what i have is better than dialup. i keep telling myself that. ;_; so after i've downloaded them all i might burn these things on cds (only like three acts per cd X_X) and send them out to anyone that wants it, providing you pay me back for the cds and the shipping. >_> anyone interested? <_< or i could just show you how to download them yourself (on either irc or bittorrent). :D
hmm, tonight i took my mom and sister out to see a movie at the cheap theatre on a whim. we went out for groceries but ended up eating at wendy's and seeing white chicks. x_x and my sister and i broke the ddr machine at the theatre. >_> oops. well, not really. just some coins got jammed in, that's all. -_- and we had five bucks of tokens still and they wouldn't refund them. after much arguing and talking with a manager i got my money back though. :D
the movie was…interesting. @_@ i kind of liked it…in a cheap way. one of those movies that are really corny but end up laughing at anyway. then at the end in the fashion show they come out in those bjk swan dresses and get laughed at and stuff. i was just a little ticked with that, but i got over it. it was supposed to be a funny scene, so whatever. it was funny. even though i like the real dress. :(
and then there's a small sims update to be made. might as well do that now.
