so i made it to level 35 last night for nothing. :( oh well, i'm pretty now. prettypretty blue. :D see? :D

i was getting sooooo sick of the hideous brown pinter. >_< and i have new earrings and new shoes and new gloves (i wish the gloves matched better, but oh well, black is neutral enough for me). ugh, i'm so glad i don't look all clashy anymore.

i just watched the reality tv episode of fear factor (with various people from reality tv). *diesdiesdies* omarosa made nikki mckibbin cry. x_x;;; the gross-out stunt was really impressive and complicated though. @_@ i never saw one that elaborate before. @_@ i stopped watching this show a long time ago, so yeah…

okay, maybe i shall play some more. maybe make level 38 by tomorrow. :D hehe, yeah right… i don't even have a blue starlight to wear yet. :(

let's talk about a variety of things, shall we?

right now i'm downloading a bunch of crap.

i'm going to go all sailor moon on you now. i felt like a good laugh, so i downloaded a bunch of stuff from here. namely the extended version of the infamous (and horrific) saban sailor moon trailer. it has a guy talking about it before hand… and he's dead serious. @_@ and right before the trailer starts he's like, "please have an open mind." *DIIIES* that makes it SOOOOO much worse since everyone in the room (especially the cameraman -_-) laughs loud and hard at it. and it's been how many years since i saw that trailer? three or four? i still can't get over jupiter's wheelchair!! X_X it sends me into a laughing fit just thinking about it. oh, and another thing i downloaded was the sailor moon barbie doll commercial. x_x "the negaverse is trying to drown the planet!" and another good one to download is the promo dic did before it was even dubbed. it's just… X_X i don't know what to say about it. the names are all different too (just when i thought the dubbed names couldn't get any worse @_@). so, yeah, there's some stuff you can laugh at with me. :D OR ELSE.

and all this time i've got a bunch of torrents going. i started downloading from a torrent last night and it's still going now. x_x it's only a bunch of kodomo no omocha mp3s, but hardly anyone's seeding. -_- i'm downloading at 3 kb/s here. x_x another hour and it should be done. i also have some fushigi yuugi and ah! megami-sama mp3s queued up and the first episode of kamen rider hibiki released by tv nihon. they've decided to sub the series, which is good. i was getting used to watching it raw though. :( i'm considering not watching the next raw episode (which should be released tomorrow from here), but i'm sure i'll end up downloading it anyway. the series is finally starting to pick up. x_x

and now i will post about last weekend's trip. well, i'll post the pictures. not really much to tell about it. we went down to the grandparents' for the family day long weekend. here's a map of the trip. just so you know what i'm talking about when i mention place names…

i went to go download ah! megami-sama episodes and that's been licensed as well. poor lbeth and i. ;_; we're being deprived!!! ;_;

this is why i don't get into super-mainstream anime anymore. for real. @_@ oh well, i'll probably buy all the dvds of this… just like i have of the ova and movie.

at least i have the final episode of nanoha and a new episode of kamen rider hibiki. *_*;

whew, we've been back for two hours, and i'm so glad to not be in a car. not that the trip was that bad, i just hate highway two with a passion, that's all. actually, the car trip wasn't as brutal as i thought it was going to be. i slept a little on the way down, listened to a lot of music, and took a lot of random pictures. on the way up i didn't sleep at all, listened to a lot of music, and took a lot of random pictures (when it became night i kept playing with the long-exposure settings and took lots of pictures of the cars' tail-lights ahead of us… then deleted them all because they were really stupid).

all this time i've been catching up on email, lj, and lbeth's blog. that's probably the worst side effect of going away.

i ate a lot of junk food today. everything from extremely greasy bacon to a big bag of mini eggs to timbits. x_x i don't feel so good. i have a bottle of orange pop upstairs that wants me to drink it. ;_;

i'll upload pictures later. or tomorrow. whenever i feel like it. :P i knew there would be a complete climate change by the time we got to our destination, so i took pictures along the way to prove it. :D

survivor started today!! yay!! interesting season so far! i was really hoping that the two tribes would stay together in one camp… how cool of a dynamic would that be!? would the teams share food/water/fire/shelter? what sort of new alliance dynamics would unfold? but, no, they just had to go and seperate them. :( and i was shocked that the superflamer didn't pick tattoo girl!!! O_O i like both of them, and the episode preview made me laugh when i saw gay guy crying in the rain or whatever. X_X i'm so mean. that team is so screwed, and they won immunity! >D no fire, no shelter, and raining like crazy. what idiots. @_@ oh well. :D hopefully they'll find their "fire" which sunk to the bottom of the sea. >D oh, the irony. oh, and as for the chick who got voted out at the end, thank goodness… i hated her.

i feel bad staying up this late. i really do. i have work at 1:00pm. so if i get up at 11:00 that's six hours or sleep or so (depending how long it takes me to get to sleep, which won't take long tonight).

i got those timbits today that i said i was going to get. mmm, yummy. i simply had no choice. :D

i've been so absolutely bored lately. it's probably because i haven't been playing maplestory very often the past few days. something really weird is wrong with my connection, and it really hates that program for some reason. everything else that accesses the internet works the same as always, but maplestory is so laggy that i'd rather not play at all. not that i could, i get booted out every five minutes or so (literally) because of the lag. the other day some hacker guy in the dungeon put a bunch of evil eyes on me while i was lagging… which killed me. :) that made me want to keep playing. yup, that sure did. :)

that game has kinda ruined the sims for me. i kinda lost interest in playing. well, that's not true. i haven't lost interest in the sims at all, but my attention span for the game has lessened so much. like… i'm used to going around killing stuff… like… action. in other words, watching kley pee and shower doesn't exactly do it for me anymore. :( even with the censor turned off (thanks jbeth!). i can only bring myself to play for less than an hour at a time. anything over 45 minutes is rare for me when it comes to that game these days. x_x maybe when the new expansion pack comes out in a couple weeks that'll all change. i'm hoping.

so now that i can't play my few video games that i enjoy i'm just so bored. i never talk to people over aim. i think a five minute conversation with nicki today was the first time i'd spoken with anyone in days, to be honest. i've resorted to talking to complete strangers in a seramyu irc channel. how sad i have become.

and i'm mad at fansubbers at the moment. why must they all release stuff at the same time? sunday was the day where all of the shows i'm watching (except air) had an episode released. not fair. :( so i downloaded them overnight and watched them all today. now i'm bored to tears waiting on all of them once again. :(

i planned on sleeping in, but my version of sleeping in requires me to sleep past 3:00pm. i don't enjoy sleeping in that late because eventually i'll have to get three hours of sleep in order to return to a regular sleeping schedule. so today i got up at 11:00am, which is an hour or two later than i regularly sleep in (i give you permission to feel jealous). and i did random computer stuff till 1:00 or so, then left for west edmonton mall, which i just got back from.

i gave myself a budget today because i'm poor and am going to need money soon, so i have to cut back on the stupid random crap i buy all the time. so i told myself i wasn't going to spend more than $20. in fact, i took a twenty out and told myself that was the only money i'd spend today.

over half of it went to junk food. *dies* i bought twix, a pepsi, a raspberry smoothie, and a raspberry frozen yogurt. and there was bus fare that came out of that. oh, and $6 spent at the arcade. yay for me. :D note to self: at the food court arcade, don't use the panels on the left side of the ddr 5th mix machine. x_x i failed on the first song because the right arrow was worn out completely i think. oh, and they changed the machine up in red's. it's not five songs anymore… they made it four. ;_; five was such a good deal. all the other ones in the mall are three songs. oh well.

i also tried on some shoes. i randomly went into payless to see if they're still ripping people off. and, yeah, they are. $50 for shoes isn't paying less. that's paying normal. paying a lot, in fact. i'm really, really stingy when it comes to shoes. and picky. don't go shoe shopping with me. maybe i need to go to some bigger shoe places; all the smaller places in that mall suck. well, i can't say all because i'm sure there's hundreds of shoe shops in there and couldn't possibly go to them all.

i feel like tim hortons donuts. ;_; really badly. or a 20 pack of timbits. ;_; all for myself. ;_; but i won't have any. ;_;

ohohoh, kley, i don't know if you'll even read this, but remember that girl i kept saying was your twin? that i saw every week? well, that was before i moved up here. but today, at the mall, i saw her. O_O i did a double take. it really shocked me. @_@ it was the same girl and everything. @_@ i was too chicken to say anything though, and she didn't see me, so i just stared. >D plus i would have missed my bus if i had talked to her.

speaking of the bus. -_- i swear, i have the worst luck. i hate those things. a few weeks ago i had to go downtown at like 8:00 in the morning. and it just so happens that there's a traffic jam going up towards the university. of course. everyone's going to school. and everyone else is going to work downtown. joy. -_- it felt like the longest bus ride ever. then, today on the way back from the mall we hit a traffic jam on the freeway. on the freeway. doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose? it was supposed to be express service without any stops, but no… the driver even called in on the radio saying that we were very late because of traffic. oh, and the people sitting across from me were driving me crazy. it was a father and son (age eight, maybe), and they were both a little… eccentric. and a bit white-trashy. and both of them spoke very loudly. x_x and i now know all about this man's medical problems, because he felt the need to talk about that to his son. in great detail. and how he's going to sue the doctor for misdiagnosing him and making him blind (or soon-to-be blind). and, yeah, he got into transplants and stuff, and the poor boy thought the doctors would take his dad's eyeballs out completely and put in new ones. and he was like, "don't do it!! noooooo!!! that would be painful!!!" x_x;;; i hate bus people sometimes. they freak me out.

blah, maplestory's probably flooded with preteens getting home from school. -_- i might as well try and play it. :( oh, and for those of you who don't play it, you won't be able to any time soon if you wanted to try it. :D they closed down new member signups. :D the game's in beta testing, so they feel they have enough testers, and probably won't allow more signups until the beta testing is finished. which is probably many months down the road. so too bad for all of you… you missed out. :D

oh, crap, i'm downloading something. the game's going to be really slow and laggy. :( oh well… i talk to more people in a day on maplestory than i would in a week on aim. -_- and i'm talking about grep people here. how sad.

cosplay… i still haven't spoken with my mom about helping me. i still haven't told her i'm going to california this summer. i'll tell her after i buy the tickets. >D which shouldn't be too far away, hopefully. it's mostly going to come down to kley… because i want to book the same flights as her out of phoenix but she's never around for me to discuss this (and other cosplay-related things) with her. >:O whatever. i've pretty much decided on my own that i'm going to cheat and do an easy version of my mystery costume. yes, that's right, all of us will have mystery costumes. >:D we rule. >:D but i think lbeth's will be the real shocker. x_x;;; trust me. x_x i'm shocked just picturing it. x_x

i'm still tossing around the idea of a non-spandex version of space knight. i saw a customer at work who had the exact same glasses as him, but they weren't sunglasses or anything like that. they were her normal glasses with regular lenses (and gigantic frames). @_@ and it kinda freaked me out.

i've been searching online for the perfect mikage wig, but haven't been very successful. i thought it'd be easy. pink wigs usually aren't hard to find. x_x a while back i saw tons while i was looking for short, white wigs for a possible dios costume. but i can't find the right pink one. i don't want HOT PINK or whatever. i want light pink… you know, like cotton candy pink. and it has to be straight and shoulder-length. :( i've spotted a few glasses that'd work for mikage's retarded purple professor glasses. one at the cheap sunglasses rack in my grocery store and another at a sunglasses kiosk in the mall.

prices for my airplane tickets went up. i wish i would have bought them sooner. x_x maybe they'll have a sale or something. they better. after taxes it was about $425 (canadian dollars) before, but now i think it's around $525. x_x *shakes fist* still worth it though. and still way cheaper than flying anywhere overseas. and, suprisingly, still cheaper than flying anywhere else in the united states, pretty much. o_O i can fly to seattle for the same price.

okay, i'm checking other airlines to see what all they're charging, and now it's cheaper if i fly alaska airlines or air canada on the way down and america west on the way back. x_x this is crazy. it used to be way cheaper if i went america west both ways. actually, america west is the most expensive out of any other airline being listed. air canada both ways and alaska airlines both ways are much cheaper than america west both ways. i just don't know what to think anymore. ;_; i hate playing this airplane ticket game. ;_;

oh, and one little thing i forgot to mention a few weeks back. remember that wordpress plugin that gets rid of comment spam? yeah, well, if you're installing it, put this code <?php wp_head(); ?> on every page (in the page's head) that will contain comments. so if you have popup comments, you have to edit wp-popup-comments.php and put that code in there. if you have comments appearing on the same page as the post, put it in your index.php template. or put it in both places like i did. seems that if you don't put that, all comments are labeled as spam. and no one can comment. that means you, jbeth.

why is reality tv so mean to me!? i don't think in the history of all reality tv game shows the person (or people) i want to win have actually won. it's not fair. ;_; yet i keep getting sucked in, time after time, hopelessly wishing that this season will be the one where i won't be disappointed. i got too emotionally invested in kris and jon. they were so close to getting first place, but got second. i don't even know if they get a consolation prize or what. they got first place on three legs of the race, so they won three trips. i guess that's not a bad prize. of course, hayden and aaron (so glad they were eliminated in the first hour) got first four times. adam and rebecca got first once, while stupid freddy and stupid kendra get a trip and the million. all the stats should be available on here when they finally get around to updating all the finale stuff.

so, yeah, they showed a preview for the next season (which starts in three weeks o_O) and AMBER AND BOSTON ROB ARE IN IT. you know, the ones that were on SURVIVOR. -_-;;; TWICE. and amber won survivor allstars! -_-;;; SHE ALREADY HAS A MILLION, THEY DON'T NEED ANOTHER. -_- they better lose. really. and they're finally going to south america. they didn't even go to that continent on this last season, and i was wondering when they'd go there. (check out the little flash route map thing on the amazing race link i just gave… it's cool *_*).
