first off, what amazing weather we've been getting. it's 8°C (46°F) here right now, and that's pretty freaking good. *_*;;; except for the fact that some of the snow melts every day, then freezes at night. so it's slippery everywhere. ;_;

and we have a trip this weekend. yay!! you'd think this weather would be great timing, but it's going to snow tonight. and snow the next day. and snow the next day. 80% chance of it on saturday, in fact. and the high will be -11°C (12°F). ;_; so the trip might get cancelled.

it's for my great grandma's birthday. she turns 90. and she really amazes me. she still drives, has no physical problems or sicknesses, and basically shows no signs of aging other than a bunch of wrinkles.

she lives in alberta (on the alberta half of lloydminster), but is having a big party at a chinese buffet in north battleford, saskatchewan. i'd actually like to get out of this province for the first time in many years, so i'm looking forward to going. if the transcanada highway isn't covered in snow, that is. -_- ohh, look, i played around on mapquest:
