my cable modem thingy (what are they called? routers? i don't know) has a series of green lights on the front that blink and flash when everything's working properly. currently, the first light is on which tells me that it's plugged in. the second light is off telling me there's no cable connection detected. the third light is on telling me the modem's plugged into my computer. all the rest are off, and i don't know what they do other than blink and flash when i've got a working connection.

this. really. sucks. kill. me. now. and watch, my internet will come back the day after you kill me. :)

i got 34 hours this week. i was scheduled for eighteen. >D oops, i didn't mean to use that emoticon. i meant to use X_X but… now that this crazy week of HELL is over i'm not in a whining mood. i went to a meeting today and we saw a preview of what our store is going to look like once all this stupid renovating is finished. apparently all the stores in north america will be converted to this new format over the next three years. we get to be one of the first ones. *_* and it's going to look soooooooo spiffy. *_*!! i can't wait. seriously. lino that looks like hardwood floors. track lighting. how cool is that!? not so psyched about the big olive bar, though. poor deli people. >:D

i bought two jumbo chocolate chunk cookies from our bakery on my way out (oh, and a pack of gum). i ate one cookie already. i love those cookies. they're always so soft and yummy and soooo chocolatey. ;_; it brings me to tears.

i like this library when all the schoolkids are in school. it's saturday and… @_@ yeah.

and i will not freak out when i go see theresa. >:P considering 90% of the people going to it will be screaming jr. high girlziez, i don't think i'll scream and freak out like they're going to.

okay, storytime. gather 'round. last night i took my mom out to a movie. we went to go see the guide (hehe, some mother's day present), but we ran into problems. i bought tickets from the automatic ticket machine thing, and when i was scanning through the titles i saw "hitch" and i was like, "they must have shortened the title of the movie since the whole title probably wouldn't fit." yeah. wrong. we bought popcorn and pop and everything and were about to walk into the freaking theatre when i noticed will smith on the movie poster outside the door. and i was like, "will smith is in this? O_o" then i realized we had bought tickets to see hitch, not the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy. X_X so we went to switch our tickets to the real thing and that movie wasn't even playing at that theatre!! this is the newest, biggest, most expensive theatre in town. -_- and it's not playing there. -_-;;; how sad is that? so i wanted to see the interpreter even though my mom doesn't like nicole kidman (i love her >_>) and… yeah, we saw that. >D i'm so nice. i couldn't help that my mom was a pushover last night. maybe i was being too pushy. >:B oh well. she admitted it was a good movie afterwards. :D

okay, i've wasted enough time blogging. i need to check when my season finales air this week so that i don't miss them. sometimes they switch around the times. o_o mostly because survivor and apprentice are, like, what… always three hours long for the finale? o_o GO TANA! GOBO!
