i just stayed up watching the first five episodes of utena. i think it was the fifth… *counts* saionji duel, saionji duel, dance party, miki prelude, miki finale… yeah, it was five episodes. anyway, yeah, my sister and i started watching it in english (she hates subtitles sometimes… bleh) and omg… the dubbing is much, much worse than i could have imagined. i was under the impression that it was dubbed okay… but holy hell, what an atrocity! dg, i don't know what you see in it. my sister was begging for me to turn to japanese because i was screaming at the tv set every five seconds. and jumping up and down in my chair going, "OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!! THIS IS AWFULLLLLL!!!!! THIS IS WRONGGGGGGG!!! WHY DID YOU JUST SAY TOOGOO!!?!?!?! OMG UTENA CAN'T EVEN PRONOUNCE HER LAST NAME RIGHTTT!!!!! TENJOO!? OMGGGGGGGG!!!! AHHHH WHY DOES MIKI HAVE A DEEPER VOICE THAN SAIONJI!?!?!?!??11//1/1111" >_>;;; yeah. so i switched it back to japanese half way through the first episode. >D tomorrow i think i'll watch episodes three and four of kodocha.

and since we're on the topic of dubbing, kodocha's is—as expected—absolutely awful. x_x but not as bad as utena's, now that i've heard both of them. the mom is the one that really bugged me. they got her dubbed voice all wrong. sana's is okay, i guess… i mean, you could pick up any hyper little girl and make her the voice of sana, really. but it's just so weird because they change stuff for the english dub. :( oh well.

and now for the real reason i came to blog. of course you should know i'm not a harry potter fan. i just saw this flash animation and… i'm still not a harry potter fan. that animation freaked the hell out of me. and i'm sure you'll feel the same way. enjoy. :)

my plan B hopefully went through and i am now on the government's good side. i hope my credit wasn't affected. :( now i just have to pay back family like crazy. i'm going to set up payments i would have put toward my student loan to automatically pay that back. but it just means i'm stuck living at home for a while longer. and my mom's moving soon (in the heritage area). thank goodness she's getting a three-bedroom apartment. :D so i'll actually have a room.

my anime came yesterday. i haven't really had the time to watch it, so all i've watched is half of the first episode of utena and the first two episodes of kodocha. yeah, that audio cutting out is quite annoying. i can't wait until all references to the first theme song, or whatever, go away. because it's annoying. :(

aaaaand, that's all i wanted to say.

this is a lot less than i was going to blog. i was going to just let it all out, but i don't feel like it anymore.

okay, so my trip is officially extremely bad. i got a bad call today from the bank. they don't love me. nobody loves me. but i'll be okay. i got a plan B. that i just came up with today. and it's going to work. it just means that i'm going to be very, very, very poor until january. and then after that i'll be very, very poor until next summer. then after that i'll be very poor until january 2007. then i'll be just poor till that summer. then after that i won't be poor! but then… i'll be done school around then… and i'll have to pay off tens of thousands of dollars in student loans! so i'll be supermegatimesinfinityvery poor. :)

i'm only blogging now because i'm bored. because kley came online but she's all like "uh, i have to go talk to aaron" when i start telling her about hammy's poo and pee. :( so i'm waiting for her to finish talking to him.

uhhh, canadian idol. what a dumb show. the one i'm semi-cheering for isn't gone yet. but she's been in the bottom two for two weeks in a row. crazy stuff. but even still… i really don't care much about this season's contestants. if/when they release albums, i will probably pass. i'll be very surprised if i watch this show next year. i might watch the auditions, and if no one jumps out at me, it's sayonara canadian idol. stupid show. i'm so over it. i'm so sick of the show being dominated by screaming girly 12-year-old teenyboppers. -_-

FANLISTING TIME! uhhh… i got accepted to run the fanlisting for the anime series gokujou seitokai. >_> did i mention that i liked that show? it's kind of one of those underrated shows that not a lot of people like, i think. which makes me love it even more. i'm just like that. i hate most of those shows that get so much hype these days. those little underrated gems are my favourites. :) so what if it has a few sucky aspects… i like it, and that's all there is to it. so i've decided to go all out with this fanlisting. not that i haven't with my other fanlistings, but this one is going to be a big informational site complete with character profiles, episode summaries, downloads, music discography, lyrics, and all that kind of fun stuff. :B because i don't think there is one single fansite on The Internet dedicated to gokujou seitokai. so i will make it. :D i have to do it in one month's time, though, because that's when i have to have the fanlisting done by. and then there's the whole school thing. yeah. gotta finish it soon. or at least start it. i got a bunch of lyrics done up that i've romanized myself. i did the second ending song today. it was way easier than the first ending and the opening song. now i just have to do the character songs. :D

kleyyyy… is taking forever talking to aaronnnnn… i think i shall go eat junk food until she gets back. yep… i will do that for sure…

okay, so i was supposed to get my phone call, but my sister doesn't know how to take messages… even though i told her it was extremely important. -_- she told them to call me at work (and they never did). x_x!! oh well… i'll call them tomorrow. i hate banks.

i'm so pissed off that my anime still has not arrived. >:O i went with a different website this time, and i'm not sure if they're non-american-friendly. @_@ i checked their website and it says their canadian shipping is seven to ten business days. but when i got my email saying that the package had shipped… it said three to five. so i was like… uhh… yay? @_@ okay, so let's figure this out. it supposedly shipped on august 12th. business days are non-holiday weekdays, right? ten business days would be august 25th. ughhh. >:O it better arrive before then. >:O or the day of, at the very worst. >:O HARRRRRRRRRR!! >:O

hammy… that sound file you sent me… you already sent me a long time ago. >_> guess you forgot. of course i still had the old one… why would i ever delete that gem? :D but, er, thanks for sending it to me again. :D

let's see… my trip was okay. tomorrow i'll find out if it was a good trip or a bad trip. i'll blog in great detail, don't you worry. >:D well, actually, let me change that. it was a bad trip. so depending on the news i get tomorrow… it was either a very bad trip or a bad trip. :(

kodocha and utena still haven't arrived. -_-

i still haven't gone through my email. i wonder what all is in there. ohhh, eleven messages in my inbox, eleven in my seramyu mailing list folder, and over 100 in my bulk folder (which i don't even bother opening anymore). lol! almost all of my inbox messages are about fanlistings. i see that there are two blog comments. and, uh, one message from paypal saying "Your Account Will Be Suspended" o_O! *opens that one* wow… that is the most pathetic phishing attempt i have ever seen! *reports it as spam* okay, blog comments… ouch… $40 fee if i don't pay for both semesters? oh well, that's fine. a pathetic $40 won't make much difference when it comes to forking over thousands of dollars. and, yes, hammy, i got your IM. *goes to see the trash you let into our sims 2 guild* :P

okay, that's enough blogging for now. :P

in about an hour i'm leaving for down south. :D i didn't tell anyone but jbeth. i don't know why. we gotta go get my sister at my grandparents' house, and i have a few other things to do there. because my branch of my bank is in that town. and i'll tell you all about it after the fact.

my utena and kodocha has not arrived. i'm mad. >:/

jbeth's gone camping for, like, a week… so the sims guild is in your hands, hammy! approve our new members please! :( if they speak in AOLish (i.e. "omfg u wanna b prt of simz2 gild cuz kewlzzzie & wats a wooho?") then, by all means, reject them. >:D and save their funny reason for all of us to read. >_> and i don't think i need to tell you how to moderate forums, either… it IS your area of expertise, is it not? >;D

okay, i'm going to pull an lbeth and talk candidly about money. because i'll be talking about it even more when i get back.

my school is being weird. they sent me a weird thing in the mail today. o_O it has the courses i'm registered in for next semester, and lists the total balance of the year's worth of tuition. which is great, and all, but i can't really fork over $3000+ by mid-september (which is a lot cheaper than i expected to pay, but still x_x). in the bank right now i have enough money saved up to pay the first semester. almost to the dollar. in fact, i'm $10 short. i get paid every thursday, so i'll have more than enough then. :D but i wonder if they're going to be anal and make me pay both semesters at once. if so, i'm kind of screwed. x_x U of L was never that strict, and they wouldn't let you pay for two semesters at once anyway… because you couldn't register for spring until novemberish (i think).

so, yeah, i was just letting my money build up in my chequing account… yesterday was the first time i actually checked my balance in just over a month (i went to do all my banking stuff online last night). so, yeah, i was a little surprised to see i had a bunch of money just sitting around. i transfered it to my savings account… and now that's over $1000. *_* i love seeing that many digits. *_* but it'll be down to zero in less than a month, so… :(

i also found out that in the past 31 days, i've used my debit card 17 times at my work. *dies* and that doesn't include the occasional time i use cash. i was too scared to calculate the amount because i have a sneaking suspicion it's probably more than a full paycheque. i need to start bringing a bag lunch. ._.;;;
