i'm feeling really awful. i shouldn't have stayed up so late last night. i was fighting so hard to stay awake in philosophy. english was engaging enough, thankfully, and i did the reading for that. so… that one was okay. i know my education class will be engaging enough for me not to fall asleep in, but bio (in half an hour) is what i'm worried about. x_x we're talking about plants. and there's nothing like writing a lot of notes (no class discussion or participation whatsoever) especially on a stimulating topic such as plants. yippie. -_-

i'm feeling sick to my stomach, and i had some weird cramps earlier (gas? OMFGTMIBBQ). i had a bottle of coke this morning which did absolutely nothing except aggrivate my stomach. i didn't want to buy it, but i wanted to, you know, not fall asleep while standing. which is what i almost did on the bus. i'm going to quickly buy something (hopefully nutricious) and see if that helps. -_-

i got my bio lab quiz back. 48%. which, surprisingly, is not a fail. i think it's a D. i love this school's grading scale. >:D shockingly, the class average was in the 40s. yeah. ouch. it was on a bad week (most people had midterms) and the content is really hard to study for (how are you supposed to memorize protist names you can't even pronounce?). i'm not worried though. A+ on the last one makes up for it. plus they're not worth that much.

and, shockingly, i think i figured out what i want to do for my lesson (on wednesday!)… cut and paste the parts of a cell! :D but with a twist. :D the organelles are metaphors, and the class has to figure out what's what (a picture of a brain could be the nucleus). >_> i wonder if i can get a bunch of paste and scissors on short notice. x_x it's either that or teach a lesson on continental drift and have the class cut and paste modern continents into the supercontinent pangaea. but that's kind of boring. :B plus it's not a required element in the alberta curriculum to go into that great of detail when it comes to pangaea. i think.

i think i might postpone my presentation date… i really wanted to go early, but i need to get a lot of materials together. anddd… tomorrow is 10% tuesday at work and i get to work the most absolute worst shift you can work at the job i'm at: 1:30 to 10:00 on the first tuesday of the month. long shift, late shift, constant feeding frenzy of customers. in other words, impossible to work on my presentation.

gaia is dumb. i spent the hour that i gained on the weekend collecting grunnies. and i don't even know what for. i got 77, so i didn't even make it to level three (where you start to get transformed into a zombie). what a waste of time. what a retarded event. at least last year you got to play a game and shoot other people… this one is "OMG WHOEVA POSTS TEH MOST WINZ TEH INTRNEET~~~" -_- i'll do the trick or treating (already got the first bag) but i'm not getting a duplicate set like last year…

oops, i started rambling (and randomly googling some stuff). only 15 minutes now to class. so much for nutricious food…

i think i should post this.

my grandparents and my uncle are visiting. that combined with school, homework for school, and work… yeah… i won't be around much. i hope to play maplestory here and there, but that's about it.

and i still don't know what i'm going to do for teaching my lesson. it's on wednesday.

i think i need to go to bed now. school then work immediately after. i love fridays. -_-

p.s. ohh, some other groups are subbing parakiss. i'm tempted to download it and see what their version is like. meh. i'll see who ends up being the more successful version, and i'll stick with that one. it's not like it matters that much… this site says it's only 12 episodes long. which is fine with me. i like short shows. as long as they don't end like karekano, or something.

i'm going to vomit up a bunch of pictures now (not photos, so don't get your hopes up :P). they've been snowballing, so i'm just going to quickly rip this band-aid off. i'll save maplestory crap for last… here goes…

i don't feel like posting about maplestory like i said i was going to.

today was a really interesting day at work. lots of good and lots of bad. i will be brief. because i want to blog about something else. the good: the one person who has been causing me a lot of grief for many months finally quit. *_* the bad: half an hour before her shift was supposed to start. i stayed later and the closing person came in early. -_- but still. *_* yay!! i'm so happy… i wonder if we'll just pick up her shifts from now on (she got, like… two or three shifts a week) or if we'll hire someone new. either way i'm happy. she's gone. ding dong the witch is dead. -_-

oh, and we had a customer today that literally was yelling and freaking out. we gave her a cake worth over $20 and she still wouldn't shut up. -_- people like that should die. painfully. not in our department though… because they'd make me be the one to clean it up. :(

and now for the thing i wanted to blog about: parakiss episode two just came out moments ago. you know what to do. :)

i guess i should update on my school happenings.

wednesday: i got my philosophy paper done the night before, so all i needed to do was go to school and print it off before class. well, i was on my normal bus that gets me to school 20 minutes early, and a power line falls over in front of us. o_O bad luck, eh? and one of those weird, old electrical buses was connected to it. and, er, that whole part of the bus that connects it to those wires broke off. O_o so we sat there for a while… i got to school just in time and i was only like ten minutes late for class. :D then i got my english paper back. 72%. x_x i read over it and i made some horribly dumb mistakes. i even said "tree's" in the title (to pluralize the word). *kicks self* -_- thankfully, i get to do a revision and that will be my final mark. i can definitely see myself gaining at least 10% more from that. after that i had my bio midterm. it wasn't so bad. best case scenario: i got an A. worst case scenario: probably a B-. i hope i'm not being cocky…

thursday: i worked really late. -_- the usual idiot who was supposed to work the evening shift on wednesday called in sick at the last minute, so the place was a mess for my shift on thursday. two days worth of grease and grime to clean. -_- joy. -_-

today: i planned on getting up early to study for my philosophy midterm. i'm a slave to the snooze button! ;_; i ended up getting out of bed at 9:58. my bus leaves at 9:56. -_- so my only other alternative is to take some other buses that aren't express that put me at school at about 11:05 (five minutes late). and i was… five minutes late for my midterm. but, by golly, it went better than i thought. i hate those types of tests, though, where it's all long answer. ;_; i get so nervous… but it wasn't so bad, i guess. i lucked out and there were a couple questions on there that i remembered stuff from. :D best case scenario: A-. worst case scenario: C+. i'm not sure if i'm being cocky or not feeling that way. *shrugs*

tonight: i don't work!!! my first friday night off since i went back to school! *_* i want to do something, but it'll probably end up being something supermega lame like… going to the cheap theatre with my sister. x_x

monday: i have a biology lab quiz. there's going to be a lot of memorization involved in that one, but hey… if i can memorize and retain all that useless crap i posted in the comments a few posts back, i'm pretty confident i can handle protists and fungi. OH MY PARAMECIUM!

i have a bajillion maplestory pictures building up that i need to post. x_x i'll do that when i get home. :D

i just made myself chicken salad sandwiches (plural! x_x). it's 2:00am. what am i thinking? i had a craving. sue me. o_o

philosophy paper has been written. that gets handed in first thing tomorrow.

after that i get my english paper back. kind of dreading that considering i wrote it the morning it was due.

then i have… dun dun dun… a biology midterm. and i have been so far behind in the readings that it's so not funny. not funny at all. so i've been studying cramming for the past quarter of a day. they say it doesn't work, but i understand material that i wasn't so confident in before. i'm about half way through the content so far, and i'll go through more tomorrow morning and more right before class. i hope it pays off… because i can't afford to mess this midterm up. well, i can… so far i've been doing good in the lab stuff, and the final grade is worth more than the midterm, so if i bomb this one i can still pull off a good mark. but still… i can't think like that. it'll make me want to just forget about studying…

which is exactly what i'm going to do now. i'm going to bed. -_- actually, no, i'm going to clean the cutting board because i don't want salmonella bacteria growing on that thing. :) salmonella is a proteobacterium. :) it's gram negative, which means that the peptidoglycan is not exposed in the cell wall, so the violet gram stain doesn't take. :) the bacteria are also bacillus-shaped (rod-shaped). :) it's a pathogenic organism, so we must be careful. :)

…really, i must stop studying tonight. for my own good.
