This layout was made totally by me, but I obviously didn't draw the picture. That'd probably be Yazawa Ai, creator of NANA. Featured in this layout is none other than Osaki Nana herself. The image can be found in the NANA 1st Illustrations art book. The layout was made in Adobe Photoshop 7.0. The font is just Impact, which came with my computer. :P And, of course, this blog is powered by the omnipotent WordPress. <3 It is strongly recommended that you view this page in the latest version of FireFox. I use PNG-24 format, so if the image transparency looks all messed up, it's your own fault.

just when i thought the computer lab freaks down in lethbridge were the worst, i sit down near a guy who is wearing a baseball cap with the metal naruto plate on the front. you have no idea how hard it is for me not to laugh at the guy right now.

i'm now i'm in the middle of getting advised on what to do about my japanese credits. :( i'm in such a pickle. the program i'm in right now is a transfer program. that means i can't get credit transfered TO me since i'm not going to be completing my degree here. i have credit at the university of lethbridge for the first two japanese intro courses, and i need to continue. i don't just want to continue, it's vital i get more credits in japanese in my second year. my third year is my introductory professional term in education, and that's always in your minor. i need so many credits in my minor before they'll let me do that. so… i'm kind of screwed here. i need to take more japanese, but they won't let me. i have an appointment with an education advisor at 3:40 (ugh, i'll be hanging out doing nothing for almost two hours) to see if i can waive the prereqs on the second year japanese courses.

this all need to be done quickly. registration is monday, and i don't want to miss out. X_X

of course, the quick and dirty solution is to attend the to the U of A now (in their open studies program). it's not convenient for me, i'd be paying a bit more, and i'd be considered a part-time student in both schools. :( but it'd solve my program. i'd get my lethbridge credit transfered and i could continue on there. ugh. why do i have to make things so hard for myself?

they're playing the "someone else's problem" game. i went to the student resource centre. they told me to go speak to an education advisor. i went to the arts & education office. they told me to speak to the registrar's office. i went to the registrar's office. they told me to speak to an education advisor. so i made an appointment with an education advisor. -_-

maybe i should have picked a different minor. chikusho~ kainashi da ze~, ore. :( nihongo yameru beki da zo. :(

    music time.

    time for some elongated postage

since i feel like a ton of bricks has been lifted from my shoulders, i think i should post. i've been too bogged down the past few weeks to really say much. not that there's much to say. plus, i've written a rather large paper for english in the past 24 hours, so a little writing on here is nothing.

speaking of that paper, i'm rather shocked. i should have written it weeks ago. it was my big assignment for english 101, a research paper worth 20% of my final mark. it was due one week ago, in fact, but i chose to hand it in late. in our class you have up to a week to hand it in, but you have to take a 10% penalty off the mark of the paper. well, i took the 10% penalty, and i'm sure it'll hurt. 10% off a paper worth 20% of my final mark equals 2% of my final mark lost (yeah, ouchies). :( now that i think about it, the last paper i handed in was late, but i really couldn't help it last time. this time was more procrastination than anything. procrastination at its finest, really. i waited until last night at 8:00pm to even start. well, that's a lie. i had done most of my research already, collected several articles together, wrote a brief outline, and even several topic sentences for paragraphs. it was mostly a game of "fill-in-the-paragraph" (creatively x_x) and "which source is best?" but in the end it worked out pretty good. it was 1500 words (i've had to write more, but i'm just not used to it in the least) with a maximum of 2000. i wrote 1800, and i didn't even mean to. kind of like what i'm doing now. i meant to make this paragraph about five sentences long, but it's now 19, including this one. i guess that means i should shut up now (20!).

today was the day i found out how to register for next year. it's so different here. i would have totally been registered by now in lethbridge. i checked u of a's bear tracks registration thing and looks like people are registering there too. what's up, macewan? geez! get with it. registration opens on the third at 12:01am. i'll definitely be staying up. i normally stay up past that anyway. i really want to get into the classes i want this year. i was given the registration schedule today, and i already have my fall and winter classes planned. i'm happy to report that we've got second year japanese courses, so i won't have to go to U of A for open studies after all. :D which is good for me, really. cheaper and more convenient. i just hope they'll let me go into it without having to take the first year ones. i'll go see an academic advisor, or something.

lalala, what else about school. oh yeah, my winter semester. you'd think that taking four courses per semester would leave me with a lot of options, but it really hasn't. i'm having a rather difficult time with my winter 2007 semester. most of my required stuff will be done, and my options are rather limited. i'll be taking a japanese and biology course for sure, but if i stick with four courses per semester, what else should i pick? i'm thinking EDIT (education technology or something weird like that) but i think i have my computing requirement (by taking programming at U of L). if that doesn't count, i guess i'll take EDIT. yay, i get to learn how to make a powerpoint presentation. -_- but what else? i could take astronomy of stars and galaxies, but that looks horribly mathematic. i have the high school prereqs, but i need easier courses. :( i could take organic chem, but that'd be a million times harder. or i could not take anything and have a really easy semester. :D three courses… woo! :D i think i might do that.

OKAY ALREADY, enough about school. geez. work! :D my boss retired last week. o_O she's only like… in her early 40s? something like that. i'm so sad! ;_; she was so nice! ;_; best boss there ever was. ;_; right now i'm bossless. x_x i don't know who's taking over. no one does. this is really weird. @_@ PARTY TIME!! >D FOOD FIGHT!! *gets pelted in the head with a flaxseed bagel* x_x

saturday was my zoology field trip to drumheller's royal tyrell museum. americans, click here. it really is one of the top dinosaur museums in the world. i love how they laid everything out by era and period, from pre-cambrian to present day. it was really great. i've only been there once when i was young and could barely remember anything. i filled my camera's 256MB flash card. x_x so many pictures of bones. X_X we went to reptile world (pretty much a small zoo of living reptiles and amphibians ranging from the poisonous dart frog to the black mamba to an alligator (can't remember what kind). @_@ sooo many pictures of them too. X_X i took some videos of them feeding. >_> the alligator wouldn't eat for an audience though, no matter how many times they poked it with a rake. @_@ and two diamondback rattlesnakes faught over a dead mouse, even though they gave them two. O_o gotta love animals.

crap. i need to do my tax stuff. @_@ and i still haven't got my ralphbucks. maybe i should call someone about that? X_X it's probably too late. oh well.

running out of stuff to post about. i could go on and on about maplestory, but i won't. i'll save that for later. it's so speshul that it needs its own post.

i lost the cord that connects my camera to my computer. :( i need to buy one of those connector thingies that connects my memory card to my computer now. suckysucky. i also need to buy next month's bus pass. suckysucky. i wanted to pay mr. visa off, but that'll have to wait until next month. maybe if i get all my stuff paid off by the time my tax return comes (assuming i get one instead of owing, which i seriously doubt) i might be able to use that money on an ipod. :D yayyyyy. :D

oh, you poor people with sites that are down. :( let's all switch to something other than cyberpixels, ok? seriously. enough is enough. i have a nice place i'm going to switch to when i have the time to transfer hundreds of MB of data, along with databases, and such. which… actually could be done this week before thursday. hmmm. nah, i'll procrastinate. i like doing that.

    OH NOEZ. i just remembered that i have to do a music assignment that's due in a week. i have to see a concert. of some kind. @_@ and do a report on it. NOOO, why does this always happen to me? ;_;

note to self: blog about anime. lots of anime stuff to blog about. gotta do that in the future sometime. i keep forgetting.

ending this post now. it's long enough, don't you think?

as a person who's interested in evolutionary biology, and a person who's horribly addicted to the sims, this new game spore looks like the best game ever. the link is to a video (about half an hour long) about a developer going through the game, and… i'm blown away. i really want that game. @_@

and now i have the urge to play the sims. i've been playing it a lot more lately (since my computer is super fast now :D). i've decided to wait until next month to get the new expansion pack (open for business). i don't want to be distracted from school any more than i already am.

speaking of, i guess i should finish my bio homework. :( stupid yeast facultative anaerobic metabolism. >:(

yet another post lost by accidentally pressing the back button. (there's one on this keyboard! i do not want a back button on a keyboard! i hate the back button!! stupid school keyboard.)

anyway, it was mostly just rambling about what i need to take next year. party's pretty much over when it comes to electives. i'll be on a strict biology/japanese/education diet for the next three years. :( with some other required courses thrown in there that are science-related. i'm supposed to take three to five classes in general sciences, pretty much (including biology, excluding my required courses). i'm taking one this semester: zoology 224. two more to go… hmmm… they'll probably be done at the UofA. i'm thinking an upper level biology course (a survey of mammals would be fun… but i don't know what courses there even are yet). i might do organic chemistry, if i get desperate (or if i have a slack semester and need a challenge). i want to do astronomy, but i don't know if macewan offers it. that may have to wait till UofA as well. if i like genetics (it was one of my favourite parts in high school, but you never know… i hated evolution back in HS, but now i love it) i might take an upper level genetics course. we'll see, we'll see.

my required courses are kind of funny. i have to take botany 205. i have no idea what that is. they're making me take genetics and ecology, which i can understand, but botany? sorry, but… plants are boring. >D if i have to be optimistic about it, i'd rather study plants than protists or fungi. especially protists. ugh. -_- prokaryotes are also pretty boring. except for the danger factor. >:D oopsies! dropped some e.coli on the floor! DISINFECT! DISINFECT!

bleh… they're making me take one or two physiology courses. i'm not too good with memorizing bones and muscles and crap like that. oh, who am i kidding, i am good with that stuff, but i hate doing it. >D i'm just too lazy. but bio 30 was pretty much human physiology, right? and i got honours, so… maybe it won't be so bad.

i'm hoping and praying that this school offers second year japanese courses next year. if you didn't know, macewan is the first alberta college that has been given degree-granting status (starting next fall they're offering BAs). hopefully, their language courses will be more advanced now that a lot of students will be taking humanities into their fourth year. i have a lot of requirements to meet since it's my minor, and i've only got the first two intro courses done (in lethbridge). so, yeah… i'm kind of eager to learn more japanese. >:O chikusho~

music time. :) a word on that: i'm rather shocked at how bold some of these students are. there's this one girl who is very vocal about how boring she thinks classical music is. personally, i love it. i love classical music. i don't listen to it every single day, but i love it, and appreciate it. i love playing it. i love writing it. people just don't get it because our idea of "music" is so removed from how music was back then. a piece we listened to last class almost brought me to tears (i think it was by schubert… or schumann… i'll look it up). i don't really know why. it's just moving. so i don't appreciate it when people treat "old" music as stupid and boring. -_-

oh yeah! i bought new gum! i forgot! mmm cuntymint.

i used to watch conan o'brien pretty much every night… back before school started. i really miss the walker texas ranger lever. so i did a little searching, and found some on youtube… here is one that shows pretty much the best worst of the walker clips. incluuuuding… the awful one they were afraid to show, but did anyway (it's the last clip; gotta save the best for last). i remember seeing that on tv… and i laughed for sooooo long.

so, yeah, click that. watch it. even if you don't like conan. :P it's still fun to mock walker. plus… i've noticed youtube has taken down a lot of conan clips, so watch this one while you can. >_>

    i'm going to bed. x_x

one reason why i don't like to whore my blog out to sites like technorati is because i don't like the extra traffic this place gets. it's bad enough people google my blog and get content they don't want. three quarters of the visitors to blog.precisely.org stay less than 30 seconds, according to my stats. most of them search for maplestory. remember when we all used to post our search keywords and stuff? mine kind of went… not funny. but here's some for old time's sake. okay, i'm at school, and i'm bored to tears (what? study? wut u sei?), so i shall blog about maplestory. :D but i'm at school, so no screenshots for you. maybe when i get home i'll post a bunch, but that's unlikely.

well, i've been stuck on level 60 now for a little while. i was leveling very nicely thanks to a few quests (do you know how long it took me to get 300 white pang tails? too long >:P), and being able to kill drakes nice and quick, but 70% has been my limit. since ludibrium was released (!!!1), meg and i went exploring, and i kind of died. and i died at master chronos. X_X they're perfect for me to train on (plus there's a chance for tobis… and a 10% staff scroll, which is sellable or giveawayable), but their magic attack is ouchies. ;_; and having arguments about a monster you don't even know the drops for while being mattacked is not smart. i'm not smart. -_-

the level 60 jump quest is dead easy. took me ten minutes. *_* of course, after doing sabi2, ALL jump quests are easy. STUPID NECKIS. -_- I HATE THEM ALL. I WANT TO COMMIT JR. NECKI GENOCIDE (STILL). -_-

so far no drops from ludi monsters. i've mosty been going back and forth between master chronos and doing quests. last night i decided i'd do the entire series of quests with that guy… er… in the upper right of ludi. where you kill various monsters in eos tower. i finished last night around… 3am? which is great, because the final monster is boss-ish like mushmom, but spawns faster (20 minutes?). and i found one fairly quickly and soloed it. :D I SOLO ROMBOT I PRO. after all that work, though, i got a 60% bow scroll. -_-!!!!! i was so pissed off. it's not worth that much, and it's not something i can give away to a friend, so yeah… stupid prize. -_- i also got a 10% glove attack scroll (vs. 60%). good prize, but i was hoping for the one that i could sell for more. :(

so i figured it'd be a good idea to do the dollhouse quest while no one was online. i did it. first try. o_o it's really easy… the shading on the handle is really different. so yeah, got a bunch of pills for that… and it unlocked another quest… which was very fast. o_o i'm not sure if it's supposed to be an "arwen's shoe" type of quest, but i found that gold tick-tock crank thing after ten seconds, no joke. @_@ got a 60% claw scroll from that quest. *_*!!! that only makes four more to get. :D and prices are eeeever so slowly going down, so i'm happy. :D i just hope the level 80 claws don't stop dropping soon, because everyone will want to 60% them, and demand will go up. x_x

OMG MEG! hidden street just credited your ludi monster translation! YOU'RE SO POPULAR!!! *_*

i just found out that regular chronos drop tobis too. o_o i sure hope the price drops.

oh, i guess i should mention equips. i have yet to make new gloves or shoes (neither of which are that hard to make, really, i just need a few BC ores and a ton of bronze to make screws). i still have my crappy claw scrolled with 100%s. :( i really want a clean bronze gigantic (i don't care if the LUK is underaverage! as long as the attack is okay), but they're harder to come by than i thought. for a decent price, that is. i'm hoping to pay in the five to six million range. i've seen some go for 7mil. -_- i guess i should say that i only have 8mil (thanks to me selling crap all the time in free market… i love the vending pass thing! *_*). i probably have 10+, to be honest, with all the equips and scrolls i have yet to price (mostly scrolls…). so, yeah, i'm going to be POOR if i ever get a new weapon. :( the level 70 claws are not as expensive at all… it's not fair. ;_; i have this bad feeling that if i ever get seven 60% scrolls, and i manage to get a clean bronze gig, most of them will fail. ;_; which is why i want a bronze one, so i can upgrade to dark and i gots me seven more slots. but the scrolls!! ;_; sooo expensive. i should have made a spearman. :( you can make the serpant's tongue now! *_*

still gotta get a dark identity. -_- but i have the other two identities (bought on impulse >_>), so they'll do for now. this is the lowest priority. I LOOK LIKE SOMETHING AWFUL OUT OF NARUTO. ;_; but i was getting sick of the sonata anyway. x_x

so, yeah, my priorities are… finding a clean bronze gig, making gloves and shoes, obtaining seven 60% claw scrolls, obtaining a dark id (which is at least average).

weee, yay, that killed lots of time. hehe, killing time. i've been doing that a lot in maplestory. chronos. get it? >D *ahem* uh, yeah. music class now. finally finished beethoven. :D beethoven makes me want to write my own piano sonata. which i think i will… someday. o_o seriously.
