YAY! it's over!!! i just got out of my bio final. and, well, in short, it was difficult, but i'm sure i passed. using simple probability, it's impossible for me to fail it. i was completely sure on about half the questions (lol, i know that's bad). so, according to probability, if i purely guessed on all the other questions i'll gain another 10% on top of (five possible answers with 50% of the test guessed means 10% of the exam should be correct, plus the 50% i'm sure i got right). but i was able to narrow down most questions to either two or three possible answers, so my guesses have a better chance at being right than one in five. :D i'm guessing i'll get between 65% and 75%. i know that sounds like an awful thing to strive for, but i really don't mind. it was a very hard course. :(

i just went by the biology labs to check my lab mark for this course. yeah… i got some weird looks when people saw me grinning and squealing. :D i've been saying it all along, the lab component for this bio course is super easy (for me, at least). guess who got the highest mark on the lab final? me. :D tied with a person, actually. but still. :D i got an A. :D so that brings my lab component total to A+!!!!!!!!! *_* which is really great considering i got a D on the lecture midterm. :D lab component is worth 40% of my total grade, so it'll balance things out nicely. :D i may be able to pull off a B in this course, yet!

and now i must go home and shower. this is a little TMI, but i decided to study cram this morning for 45 minutes before catching the bus instead of showering. :( i sacrificed nongreasy hair for a better mark. :( i'm sure you'd do the same! :(

i gotta make this quick or i'll miss my bus. just like the old days, eh? :D i just got out of my english final exam. bus doesn't get here for ten minutes. let's see how fast i can type.

you have no idea how happy i am to be completely done with english. i feel like screaming for joy at the top of my lungs. but i'm not hammy, so i won't do that. i am in my head though. :)

english 101 was a full-year course for me. i'm required to take it. the final exam was to write two 1000-word essays and a 500-word response. one was a comparison/contrast essay about two oscar wilde plays and another was a novel analysis. the response was to a poem. we had the subjects and poem all before the exam, so there were no surprises.

oh, crap, i just realized i forgot to cite my source in my comparison/contrast essay. crapppp. oh well. i'm sure he'll let it slide. he can be generous at times… x_x at times. hopefully this is one of the times. YAY PLAGIARISM. -_- no, i am not claiming oscar wilde's writing as my own. i think it's obvious.

i hated this class. i liked reading the content, but the essays were crazy because he marks them rather harsh. if you can write, and i know i can write, then it shouldn't be that bad. but i am lazy when it comes to academia, and i have classes that are way harder than english, so sometimes i messed up. and when you mess up in his class you really do bad. so, yeah, i'm expecting B- or C+. hopefully B-. or better. i can dream. :(

one more exam left: bio. it's on friday. but for now i will focus on just getting to work tonight. isn't that cruel of them to make me work on the same day as an exam? i guess it's my fault since i only booked the morning off instead of the whole day. i booked thursday off so i can study, though. we'll see if i actually do it.

they're pretty mad at me at work, though. it's a first. at least i think they're mad at me. i'm really putting them in a bind by going to vancouver. i bought the tickets yesterday and everything. my itinerary:

i've never been so happy to be dependant upon public transportation.

i guess i should post a little something.

i'm in the middle of finals. so far i've done zoology and music. they were both hard, but not bad. zoology was actually way easier than i was expecting. though i did fairly bad in the lab, i may pull of a decent grade in that class. music… yeah… you can all laugh at me now for actually aiming for A+. i still think i was capable of getting that grade, but i am really lazy. i'll be the first to admit that i let this class slip through my fingers way too many times. i skipped it the most. >_> but so did most of the class, really. only about a third of the class came anyway. i went way more than the average person. i'm not sure if it was me being tired, the fact that it was a saturday, or the fact that i wasn't fully prepared, but i wrote my music final so nonchalantly that it almost makes me sick when i look back at it. i guessed a lot. i even went back and changed most of the answers that i had guessed on (they say not to do that since your gut instinct is usually right). oh well. :D worst case scenario is probably a B. if i fluke out and do really well on the final (not bloody likely) i might scrape by with an A-. i seriously doubt that.

today we also went to the pet store. the really good one. i love it. we looked at everything. they have three ferrets there (they only had two last time i was there)! :D two were awake! they're almost always sleeping when i go there. so, yeah, i was going to hold one, but decided against it. one girl had just finished holding one, and it took her like… two minutes just to get it back in. o_o it was that hyper. he somehow crawled up her shoulder and down her back (and almost got away) all the while the one in the cage nearly got out when she opened the door. so, yeah, i didn't want to open the cage right after that. those ferrets would be so gone, and that'd be really embarrassing. :(

i want a ferret. :( i want a finch. :( i want a mini daschund. :( i want some fish. :(

i want to survive next week. i booked two full days off and two half days off work, and they have me working pretty much every hour i didn't book off. for no reason. -_- oh well. after next week i'm sure i won't mind.
