just a quick post to let you know that i'm not dead or anything. but just about. i'm being consumed by school and work at an alarming rate. i can't get into the details right now because i'm going to try getting six hours of sleep tonight. so i have to go to bed right now. i was going to go to bed an hour ago, but i'm a little upset about being forced into having no life rather than me choosing not to have one (like normal). it's even gotten to the point this week where my high-priority shows (both on tv and online fansubbed anime) are being pushed into my cancerous backlog folder (yes, i'm actually downloading the tv shows i miss X_x). but i couldn't take it any longer, so i just stayed up for an hour watching nana while eating carrots. :)

and, uh, yeah, i'm really scared now because hachi's narration is really starting to creep me out, and for once i'm having a hard time not reading spoilers (but i shall resist). it's hard to believe the show is half over, which makes me kind of sad. if the first half has affected me this much, i can't wait to see how the rest unfolds. i just have this bad feeling that it's going to end in a huge tragedy, unlike yazawa ai's other stuff which tends to end on a happier note (though often bittersweet). i don't want to speculate, especially at this hour in the state i'm in. either nana dies and hachi's narration is her friggen EULOGY, or something bad happens to nana and she either abandons singing and/or life altogether. i can just tell. they're totally setting this up. things are finally going good for her. not to mention hachi's own character flaws prevent her from growing as a person without some major event to slap her in the face. but who knows. it could just be that new ending theme song, as much as it rocks, it's a bit darker than the last one (i really hope the lyrics are random and don't have anything to do with the plot). either way, i don't want to know if i'm right or wrong. i hope i'm wrong, but don't don't tell me if i am. definitely don't tell me if i'm right. x_x i love being surprised by this show; it's paced so cruelly perfect. seems like they give you a little shock every episode.

anyway, enough about that. bedtime. x_x
