i'm getting really original with these post titles, aren't i?

okay, well, this shouldn't take too long to tell. i got my hair cut today. and i'm absolutely hating it. after calling in to make an appointment with the lady i normally have, i found out she hasn't been cutting hair since december. talk about embarrassing. -_- and i was really sad!! for couple minutes i didn't know what to do! she really "got" me. she knew what i wanted when i explained it to her. and she'd actually, like, sit down and discuss it with me. even if there was a lineup of people waiting to get in. and she coloured my hair even though it was super busy on a holiday back in september. >D anyway, yeah, i was so sad! so i just decided to go to the same place and take my chances.

bad idea. -_- i take in a magazine photo of this one cut i want. it's a bit longer than a medium-length. she cut it way shorter. like, in the picture, his hair comes over his ears about half way. mine? barely touching the top. -_- it looks stupid, and i hate it. everyone wants to see pictures, but i'm not showing you people. i wholeheartedly refuse. >_> i'm going to wait a couple weeks for it to grow out. >D

i don't know, maybe if i play around with it. i don't know though, she cut it at the length i hate the most. basically the "in between" phase between short and shaggy. -_-

anyway, yeah, that's all i have to say. :D i'm really loving how you people are hot and bothered over my secret post! a pleasant byproduct if you ask me. :)

looks like things are okay for now. no viruses detected, and no attempts at hijacking my computer when it's connected to the internet. so far so good, but i'm not saying i'm in the clear quite yet. i'll wait a few days before i claim victory. i had a random internet explorer window pop up (while playing audition -_- i was winning too). no idea what that means… it could just be spyware. i'll have to do a scan. *starts that now*

and that's about all i wanted to say about that. looks like i have neglected to mention on here about other things.

this just in, hammy is now calling her students her "stupids" without even realizing it! >D

okay, so uh… final exams went well, actually. they weren't spaced out the best, but it could have been worse. i have all my grades in now, and i'm absolutely ecstatic over them. while getting a C in genetics isn't the best, i was really worried about actually passing the class (gotta get C- or more for transfer credit). so i was aiming for that C-, but got C. go me! >_> that class was so hard, but even i admit that i really concentrated on japanese this semester. so much so that i got an A+. my first A+ in a class!! :D i worked sooo hard, let me tell you. people are under the impression that i'm just a genius when it comes to this stuff, but i studied for every quiz like it was a midterm (for example, i'd study for an hour for each kanji quiz, and we had ten kanji quizzes total over the semester). but that class was truly fun, and i considered majoring in japanese for a time. i'd be lying if i said i wasn't still considering it. but it's too late now. if i don't get into education, i'll still major in biology.

so yeah, moving on to that. as of yesterday, the U of A should have all my official transcripts now, so i'm just waiting for them to get back to me. i don't think i won't get in (unless competition is abnormally high for the faculty of science; i already know education is hard to get into, so i don't know about that). i decided not to take EDPY 200 in the three week may course because, first of all, i refuse to spend AX money to take the class. and i have no other way of paying it. so that's the main reason. if i do get into education though, i'll just pick up the course in the fall before i do student teaching. if i don't get into education, no big deal then, right? it's just that my admission average will be significantly less, so i might have just doomed my chances of getting into education by not taking this class. -_-

i am in the weirdest grep chat right now. o_O i don't even have lbeth or jbeth or anyone to rescue me.

okay, i don't know what else to blog about. i guess that'll be it for tonight.

something awful happened yesterday. my sister downloaded some sort of virus on my computer yesterday. i've been trying to deal with it for the past eleven hours, and i'm absolutely livid at this point. i was livid hours ago so you can imagine how i am feeling right now. i've scanned my computer three times now (with the highest possible search quality, so it takes a long time to complete a full system scan). the first time it found five trojan horse viruses, so i got rid of them. didn't fix the problem. second scan found three more trojan horse viruses. the stupid antivirus program wouldn't let me delete these other files that it called decompression bombs. so, despite the fact that i was getting rid of the viruses, these undeletable decompression bombs are probably causing more to spawn. or causing more to be downloaded from the internet whenever i reconnect the cord on my modem.

right now i'm typing this in notepad because as soon as windows started opening on their own, and stuff, i immediately unplugged the connection cable on my modem. so i'm a little irritated right now. i can't check the internet on how to get rid of decompression bombs without risking getting hijacked. i got so frustrated at one point that i did just that, and all kinds of stupid things started popping up. i couldn't take it anymore after a couple minutes, so i unplugged the cord again. i found the physical bomb files, or whatever, and i deleted them via recycle bin, but who knows if i was even supposed to do that. i can't check the internet to find out. -_-

as if it couldn't get any worse, my mom's laptop died this afternoon. it's not even an old laptop either. i've been trying to fix that at the same time, but i've made it way worse. it has something seriously wrong with the registry, and i was nearly to the point of fixing it, i think. but now i can't even load it up in safemode. i'd boot up the computer from the windows CD but this stupid piece of crap computer came with windows XP dummy-CDs (not the original software, but some stupid manufactured version that's really dumbed down… i need access to command prompts, not pretty graphical menus asking me if i want to reinstall windows! -_-). so it's been double the fun tonight, let me tell you. i'm about this close to reinstalling the OS on this laptop. i really wish i could access the internet on the laptop so i can figure out what's going on with these viruses.

so how am i posting this? i'll be plugging my modem cord back in for a few seconds just to get the message out. if you don't hear from me for the next little while, yeah… that's why.

i'm so tired right now. i've been working on this all day. talk about a fucking shitty way to spend a day off from work. i'm going to bed now… i have to get up early for work in the morning. -_- i can't deal with this any longer.

stupid MBTI. i have to take it every once in a while, right? check out my past results here if you're at all curious. i seem to flip-flop a little too much.
