This layout was made totally by me, but I obviously didn't draw the picture. That'd probably be Yazawa Ai, creator of NANA. Featured in this layout is none other than Osaki Nana herself. The image can be found in the NANA 1st Illustrations art book. The layout was made in Adobe Photoshop 7.0. The font is just Impact, which came with my computer. :P And, of course, this blog is powered by the omnipotent WordPress. <3 It is strongly recommended that you view this page in the latest version of FireFox. I use PNG-24 format, so if the image transparency looks all messed up, it's your own fault.
The most wonderful time of the year…

August 25th marks my 6th blogiversary. Yay me. :)

I've been kind of sucking lately at updating this, but there's not much to tell. I got my order from 10percent.com a lot earlier than I thought I would. Love my new bag, love my new… uh… other stuff… >;D YAY STUFF.

Work hasn't really been that busy, but it will be for me until the middle of next month. We're suddenly short-staffed now and I offered to help out Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for the first two weeks school was in, even though I told them I'm only available on weekends once school starts in September. But it's win-win since I'll really need the money. Still don't know how school's getting paid for, and I have until the end of next month to figure that out. I have one textbook paid for, though, so… that's something, right? I'm just that enthused about taking Botany, let me tell you. *rolls eyes*

I'm glad Simon got me to sign up for Twitter. (And I'm happy Lisa followed suit without me saying a word, lol.) When I've no one to text message, there's always Twitter. :D It sounds pathetic, but it's true.

In closing, I'd just like to say that I bought some tarot cards yesterday. Neat, eh?

This song is not for you lovers

I'm not sure what to say. I'm remembering bits and pieces from last night. Especially the part at the end. ;) But yeah. Next time I think I need to get more pop.

I shouldn't be allowed near Sharpie markers in that state either. I got it everywhere. Even on my freaking grade 12 yearbook. And can someone tell me how/why I wrote on my elbow? Even Jayne didn't come out unscathed. And it's not washing off. :(

I slept in way too late today. I've only been up for about three hours now. It kind of sucks because I do actually have to go to bed properly tonight. I'm not sure if I could pull an all-nighter when I work from 9:30 to 6:00 tomorrow.

I just made and ate the biggest salad I've ever eaten. I used over half a head of lettuce. o_o

Is it bad that I'm listening to this song on repeat? The Sounds - Tony The Beat. I'm thinking no. The fact that it's this weird Scandinavian electronic pop concoction makes it very entertaining.

*edits* Who likes my new desktop? I know I do! :D

    Self-pity? Ha.

Well, I've certainly wasted my little stretch of off-time thus far. Thursday I slept in till very late, didn't do anything after. I did the same on Friday, except I went to the University to pay my tuition deposit, then I went downtown to run a few errands. Picked up a webcam while I was there. :) Then played with it all evening when I got home, as some of you know. Today I slept in again, but not unnecessarily. I was asked out for coffee by some guy I've spoken with a couple times online, so I figured why not. He asked for my number and I gave it to him. He said he'd probably be sleeping in too, so he'd call when he got up so we could coordinate something. So I get up and get ready somewhat. Showered, shaved, all that stuff. And waited for the call which it never came. Soooooo, yeah. Feels great. If he asks again I'm going to be a prissy jerk and turn him down, no matter what the reason ends up being. I don't care that it was pouring rain all day. Believe it or not, I prefer to drink coffee indoors.

So today was probably the most wasted of all the days so far. My mom left for Red Deer for her friend's birthday party, or something. She's staying overnight right now. My sister's at my grandparents' for a couple weeks, so the place is all mine. I'd be lying if I said I didn't think of doing something naughty. ;D But so far the worst thing I've done is slip a little vodka into my Pepsi. OH THE HUMANITY. I didn't even feel it. So far today I've played Audition a couple times, watched some QaF, watched some Japanese dramas, and (best of all) I sang karaoke with Japanese people. I installed the Japanese Yahoo! Messenger and went into their karaoke room. And was able to really communicate with them, for the most part. I also came to realize that I don't have much to sing in there. There seems to be a real division of what guys and girls sing, and I'm not really into Gackt or EXILE or anything like that. :( I sang Styx's Mr. Roboto for them, though. I was amused. :) Too bad they reacted kind of weird when I decided to do Nakashima Mika…

Yeah, nothing much else to say. It's insanely late and I'll be going to bed here in a moment. I'll sleep in unnecessarily late, I think, because I just feel like it. No plans for tomorrow either. Bleh, screw everything, who cares. I honestly just want school to start already. I just want to have stuff to work on; I want to meet new people. I feel like I'm stuck in some sort of limbo right now. 31 more days, and counting…
